About Our Club The Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque is one of the first Kiwanis Clubs in the nation. It was chartered on October 3, 1917, two years after the founding of Kiwanis as an organization. The Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque is among the largest Kiwanis club in the world. For over 90 years we have been serving the people of Albuquerque by providing needed services to those less fortunate than ourselves. Our belief is that when we strengthen, inform and aid our fellow citizens, we help to create a better place for all of us to live. We are extremely proud of our community and our Club's role in making it a wonderful place to live. Our Members Our members come from all walks of life: bankers, lawyers, doctors, accountants, judges, scientists, financial planners, educators, social service professionals, elected officials, retirees and many others spanning the entire spectrum of professions in Albuquerque. What we all have in common is a desire to give back to the community that has been so good to us.
