2009 Election

Each year we conduct the important job of selecting officers for our club for the coming year. These officers will make the very important decisions that greatly affect each of us. Again this year, we will take on the difficult task of selecting officers from the group of very qualified candidates listed below. We want to thank each one of them for everything they do and for their willingness to help make the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque the best there is.

The nominating committee is very pleased to announce the candidates for our club's officers for the coming year.

The nominees are:-

President: Bert Benedick

President-Elect: "Cookie" Emerson

Vice-President (select one): Dave Orner and Ron Schranz

Secretary: Peggy Broersmra

Treasurer: Steve Schroeder

Board of Directors (select four):

Vince Bonino

Fran Chapman

Nelle Conway

Ginger Cowne

Judy Lucero

Nena Perkin

Joe Trujillo

Michael Vigil.

There will also be the possibility of "Write-in" candidates from the floor.

On May 4, each candidate will speak about their background and why they would like to be elected to office. On May 11, we will conduct our Annual meeting and conduct the election of Officers for the coming year. Again, a sincere thank-you to all of the candidates.
